A Watercolor Day

(Words and music: Patrick Gadola)

It's no figure of speech, it's really true
I feel so small when I stand next to you
I feel like I don't matter at all
My world goes crazy, the sky starts to fall

Bright lights lost in a blazing sun
Then all faces blur into one
But there's not unity, just desolation
A sea of people is my isolation

On a watercolor day, on a watercolor day

(Instrumental -- guitar solo)

In a morbid and all-too-common way
I lose more of myself every day
I don't think I could call it art
The desperate way I'm falling apart

On a watercolor day, on a watercolor day

(Instrumental -- guitar solo)

In a brilliant and picture-perfect way
I find more of myself every day
And I love this beautiful art
That's how I found the pieces of my heart

On a watercolor day, on a watercolor day
