Game Over

(Words and music: Patrick Gadola)

I only read the papers
For the comics and the baseball scores
I know that the weather is important
But I don't care anymore

And all the rest of the news means nothing to me
It's too far gone, there's nothing there for me
What all this means, I don't really know
If I had any place to be, I would surely go

Some say that the glass is half full
And some say it's half empty
To me it's on the floor, shattered
And I'm still really thirsty

There's one thing you should know before I go on
I never thought the world would even last this long
So I have no plan of where I should be today
To me this is all extra, icing on the cake

So now I spend my time
Searching for the place where I belong
But my problem is
I always find one more thing wrong

There's one thing you should know before I go on
I never thought the world would even last this long
So I have no plan of where I should be today
To me this is all extra, icing on the cake
