Lonely As Hell
(Words and music: Patrick Gadola)

I place you on a pedestal (In my mind)
Because my imagination runs wild
I keep searching and searching
Because I’m as lonely as hell
While traveling a lonely road
I saw tiny birds flying alone
I never saw them for very long
I never saw where they would go
These tiny birds mean so little
These tiny birds mean so much
And the people I see along the road
Make me want to know more about myself
Everyone’s life is a puzzle
And a fight between good and evil
If there’s a heaven ...
If there’s a hell ...
These tiny birds know the difference well
(Instrumental line)
These tiny birds know the difference well
And it makes me want to know more about myself
I place you on a pedestal
Because I’m as lonely as hell
But if hell is lonelier than this
These tiny birds I will miss
These tiny birds I will miss
These tiny birds I will miss
And it makes me want to know more about myself
