Something Wrong With Me

(Words and music: Patrick Gadola)

Oh I know I don’t belong here
In my life it’s always true
Any place I’ve ever been
it never seems quite real

And you are some how perfect
But you’re tired of me
My dreams lie broken
Shattered at my feet

It can’t be bad luck, it must be a curse
You see, luck is supposed to change, and I just get worse
You’re upset and there’s something wrong with me
I’d be so better off just trying to sleep

So I try to go to sleep
But it’s too late
The night kept screaming
And keeping my awake

I don’t belong here
I know it’s true
I just keep hoping
Things will work out with you

It can’t be bad luck, it must be a curse
You see, luck is supposed to change, and I just get worse
You’re upset and there’s something wrong with me
I’d be so better off just trying to sleep

I wear self-loathing like my favorite clothing
I wear self-doubt on my head like my favorite hat
I wear self-loathing like my favorite clothing
I wear self-doubt on my head as if it was a crown
